Find Time

Find Time

Set aside this time have I

to be with the one I love

Around me she is constantly

      with omnipresent embrace

Yet busy be mine work

Resteth I in her arms less frequently now

Though I hear cries day and night

      preoccupied with bigger things

Time passes on

It seemeth the more distant we become

      yet her faith faileth not

      discouraged be not she

she knows that she is part of me

and in time we shall entwine

As rusheth I in morning light

preparing for a day of work

Her eyes peek up o’er the sea

      acknowledge the gaze do I

      but no time to linger

            off be I

Thine love upon me, me showereth

      in changing colored pastels

She beams towards me through the leaves

      as rusheth I to town

Misseth her all day do I

Via only window peeks do we meet

Yet knoweth I she is always there

Finally, the day is done

Leave this mausoleum

I sense her with me instantly

as I exit from the door

She awaits my evening embrace
