My Backyard

Bequeath such honor onto me

Beholdeth before me thine countenance

      majesty of existence embraces me

      embraceth I thine surface

            soft beneath mine feet

            alive and growing

            our common bonds touch

fall to the ground do I

to be ever closer to thee

now thine scent fills my nostrils

stroketh I thine furry green surface

moist with love thee oozeth to me

clutch thee in full sprawl below me

            our naked bodies touch

I feel thee ever-so soft beneath me

the music of thine fold fills my essence

spurring me to ever new heights

such passion have I for thee

how I wish to show my love to thee

thine amorous touch is with me always

the splendor of life’s fold eternal

thine touch hath given me life

a life to know thee clearer

                        how may I thank thee?
