Ode To The Sea
In times of trouble t’was to you I turned
To you and only you I have bared all
Only you have the knowledge of who I am
To no one else shall I reveal my love
my love . . . my love
it was always you, my love
before thee I stand whole
and only before thee
How thine caress hast eased my pain
How thine touch hast calmed my mind
thine beauty enriched mine essence
thine voice tinged mine core
thy scent pervading mine emotions
In thine eyes I see my reflection
To behold thine essence is to behold mine self
Tis through thou that I hast known me
And thou that so defineth mine existence
’Tis through thine eyes that I perceive
our universe
Thou hast mine mind created
Thine creation here you beholdeth
Our destiny is linked
Our past is identical
I reflecteth upon thou
and thou reflecteth back
how endless be these reflections
how timeless be their existence
how enduring be their bond
how total be our embrace
Be us not but one;
Consciousness links our essences
Refuseth I to defineth thee
Name thee I shall not
Be thee forever free
evolving
revolving
infolding
What magnificence be this
to peer within mine mind
To perceive thine fold
Is to fold thine perception
So as I thinketh
Thou be’eth
Thine waves be mine thoughts
Thoughts be they consciousness
Consciousness links our fold
and so be we
since we be
