Take Me

Take Me

Take me on your wing

Fly off with my sorrow

No need of these feelings have I now

Why createth I such pain from such beauty

The salt air within me is her perfume

The gentle spray, her tears I have never felt

The foam, my love bottled up inside

The crashing waves, the passion I cannot show

The cold winter wind, I try to forget

So rich in passion and spirit

      how fortunate am I

All I could ever want comes now before me

She floats upon the raging wind

      high above my reach

She never leaves my sight

      sailing back and forth

      what a beautiful sight

That which I can never have

      I will dream of tonight
