Led Astray
Returneth to thine fold must I
Compelleth myself to so doeth
Led astray by mine appetites have I
Deaf to thine song have been I
Ever-present calling me back
day and night
Reacheth out to me have thee
Why ignoreth I this perfect loving embrace?

Thine light of lights in the heavens
Thine clouds of endless possibilities
Thine oceans of ceaseless flow
Thine message of wholeness omnipresent
peace of peace
What I so craveth inside
I ignoreth
What games these mortals play
self-deceit
circuitous games
endless torture
self to self
Thine nemesis is I
Mine outward receptive gaze heals all
I accept this universe
whatever it brings
whatever it sings
I accept
This mine mother of flesh taught me:
Be open to the mother of all mothers
her gift shineth upon thee daily
by sunlight days
by moonlit nights
you are never alone.
